Job Summary:

  • The Business Development Officer is principally responsible for ensuring patient satisfaction through the services offered in the hospital.


  • Conduct and develop patient satisfaction survey protocols
  • Respond to the patient queries regarding the services being offered timely.
  • Analyze the current and past budgets, expenses, sales, revenues and product deficiencies in order to provide recommendations for business growth and problem resolution.
  • Respond to the patient queries regarding the services being offered.
  • Develop creative strategies to retain the patient including interviewing them to take their feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan.
  • Prepare the annual marketing budget and track the expenses against the budget.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge about business development practices, marketing the hospital’s activities, prospective patients and health trends.
  • Develop strong customer relationships in order to generate high volume of prospective clients.
  • Manage patient / partner calls and appointments effectively for new opportunities.
  • Participate in the health industry forums, patient discussions, and conferences as a representative of the facility
  • Supervise the patient relationship management database and utilize it to manage customer contacts and mailing lists.
  • Provides oversight for all aspects of the hospital’s communications, including: proposal writing, events, marketing/development, media relations, social networking, website, newsletters and branding


  • Degree in Business Administration / Public Relations from a reputable institution.
  • Hospital experience in the same position an added advantage
